As nonprofit leaders we are expected to represent our organizations to the public and to be experts at sharing our story. At this moment in time, there is no more prolific platform for doing this than TED talks.
I had the privilege of speaking at a TEDx conference recently (on Saturday, Nov. 23), and could hardly wait to share my experience with you! Because of rules and reasons, I couldn't share any of this until the organizers had publicized that I would be part of the event, and I couldn't really talk about my content until after the event.
So here I am now, blabbing all my secrets so you can learn from my experience--both things that went well and things I wish I'd done differently.
